Buddha’s Grace and Moony Madness

“After a day of deception the Moony Madness relaunches itself for our Birth.” —Sadhguru

In this Spot, Sadhguru shares a recording of him chanting “Buddham Sharanam Gachhami” during the Buddha Purnima darshan at the Isha Institute of Inner-sciences in Tennessee a few days ago. In his new poem “Moon,” Sadhguru offers an almost satirical view on Earth’s satellite and its impact, particularly on womankind. “After a day of deception / the Moony Madness relaunches itself / for our Birth.”

Moon

our varying geometry a cause

of concern, as the oceans slosh

and humans of the menstrual sort

grapple with Passion and manic Moods.

As if desperate to find the missing

form of that day and longing for

your fullness. After a day of deception

the Moony Madness relaunches itself

for our Birth.

Love & Grace,

Sadhguru
