Getting rid of baggage

This is a time of the year where you are supposed to burn all this old baggage. It is harvest season —to harvest, first you have to cut down the old crop. Whatever opinions, ideas and conclusions you may have about other people and about yourself — time to drop them. Everyone has the possibility to flower into a beautiful being. Allow yourself and everyone else a fresh start.

In the Ramayana, Rama defeated Ravana in battle, and slayed him after cutting off all his 10 heads. And then Rama said, “Out of the 10 heads of his, there was one that had great wisdom, piety and devotion. I regret cutting off that head.” Everyone has 10 or more heads.
